The first car to be jointly developed in its entirety by Mercedes Benz and AMG. 

This is a completely original example in fantastic condition.  The C36 is treated to the full works by AMG's highly qualified experts with years of motorsport experience.

The engine is hand crafted by AMG.  Based on the C280 unit, the bore and stroke are increased giving an extra 800cc.  Forged Aluminium pistons are used which are extremely lightweight but particularly strong.  The cylinder head is gas flowed, AMG Camshafts are added and ECU remapped.

The engine produces 280bhp at 5750 rpm and torque is an impressive 385Nm at 4000 rpm.  Even at 1500 rpm the torque is 300 Nm rising to over 350 Nm between 2800 and 5300 rpm, this spread of torque makes overtaking effortless.

The braking system is uprated with the bigger disks and 4 pot calipers from the big V8 Mercs.

Suspension receives the full AMG treatment with lowered uprated springs and dampers.

The interior has AMG instruments, AMG steering wheel and C36 gear shifter.

AMG's body kit, stainless steel exhaust and wheels finish off the car.
